I wish to extend a very warm welcome to Prestatyn High School.
The school has become the fourth largest secondary school in Wales with a large and vibrant Sixth Form.
We aim to be ‘A Community Achieving Together’ and the success of the school is built on a house system that transcends the generations and is part of the folklore of the community. It is through the house system that relationships develop but it is also where parents can find a point of contact within the school.

On Friday 11th July the students attended a “Reward Point Draw” . Reward points are distributed to students throughout the academic school year and are based on attendance, behaviour and achievement. The special reward point draw was held at Prestatyn High School that acknowledged the achievements of the top 300 students from years 7-10.
The event, which was held during the final period of the school day, featured over 70 prizes including LED TVs, bikes, ipods, and other big ticket gifts. Each student was entered into a name generator and selected randomly to choose their prize. While only 70 students got the chance to pick one of the top prizes, all 300 pupils received a consolation prize of a £10 shopping voucher.
